The Best Ever Dominus?

Dominus is at once one of the most storied names in Napa wine and also an estate on the rise.  Although they’ve been a noteworthy producer ever since they crushed their first grapes, the last several vintages have been the best wines they’ve ever produced.  The 2015 just arrived carrying two 100 point scores and looks to continue that trend.

K Vintners Spring Release

The wines of K Vintners need very little introduction, as the wines Charles Smith makes under this label are some of our most popular year in and out.  If you’re unfamiliar with the winery, know that Charles Smith fashions himself a bit of a rock star and he ought to—he used to manage them.  Then, one day, on a motorcycle trip, he rode through Walla Walla and was struck by the majesty of the terrain and the vineyards.

Crowley Rose, Willamette Valley 2018 750ML ($21.95) $18 special

Wine Spectator’s #3 Wine of the Year

The Sought After Volpaia Riserva

Volpaia makes some of the most sought after, powerful wines in Chianti.  Their 2015 Riserva may be the best wine they’ve ever produced and that’s no secret—this was the #3 wine of the year in this past Wine Spectator Top 100.  We’ve been working to secure a parcel ever since the issue came out and have a limited quantity arriving at the end of next week.
