The first name in Brunello is Altesino.  While Biondi-Santi may have originated the wine in its current form, no other estate embodies the current ideal of Brunello like Altesino does.  Rugged but polished, bold but approachable, these wines display everything beloved about modern Brunello.  From entry level to Riserva, Altesino overdelivers at prices that few estates can match.  

King of (More Than) Cornas

New Releases from Vincent Paris

It’s pretty clear that Vincent Paris is the next “it” winemaker in the Northern Rhone.  Working primarily in Cornas, the wines have everything we love about Northern Rhone Syrah packaged in a clean, direct style.  He has the benefit of incredible vineyard material, too, as he now works the vineyards his uncle, Robert Michel, made famous.
