The Magical New 2016 Faiveley Arrivals

Blink and you’ll miss the 2016 Burgundy vintage.  Part of that is because of yields—down massively across the region because of frost and hail.  The other reason is that the wines are epic—more classical than 2015 and superior in the minds of many big collectors and insiders. These are stunning wines, with concentration and blazingly distinct terroir signatures.

The Wine Advocate Weighs in

On 2016 and ’17 Burgundy

On 2016 Red Burgundy:

William Fevre’s Grand Chablis

The Domaine William Fevre was born of a force of will in 1959, when William declared his first vintage; this, in a region where winemaking families stretch for centuries, not just decades. The access to this much fruit, in one of the priciest AOC in France, gives Fevre a leg up in making some of the most iconic Chablis available today.
