Willamette Valley Pinot – Magic in the Vineyards

Magic in the Willamette Valley

New Reviews from Josh Raynolds of Vinous!

sequitur bottles willamette ribbon ridge“Two thousand sixteen is yet another link in an unprecedented chain of outstanding vintages in the Willamette Valley that began in 2014 and has now extended to 2018. Josh Raynolds at Vinous just handed out some very high scores that come as almost no surprise to anyone paying attention to Willamette wine for the last several years.  We’ve been beating the drum that our local region makes Pinot Noir that is as good or better than anywhere else in the world, especially for the prices asked—and these new reviews just support that argument.… Read the rest

New Releases From Felsina and La Gerla

Arriving in September

la gerla tuscan estate vineyard brunelloRecent vintages have been kind to Tuscany.  2012, 2013 and now 2015 have all been marked successes, delivering wines of opulence and class.  Whether you prefer Brunello, Chianti or Super-Tuscans, there are a multitude of brilliant wines across the region that all deserve your attention.  We have a set of classic producers we love and new releases from two of them arrive in September.

The pricing is on-point and the combination of all of the above has turned the estate into a Vinopolis staple. … Read the rest
