Aubry Premier Cru Brut Rosé NV 750ml Displayed Price: $59, that’s $56.05 at 5% off and $53.10 at 10% off, 6 bottles in stock now
Eric Guido-Vinous 93 points
“Opening like a basket of wild berries with dusty florals and sweet lavender, the 2022 Etna Rosso Santo Spirito is a total pleasure on the nose. This is lifted and pure in style, with ripe raspberries and blueberries mingling over a core of brisk acidity. It’s long and structured yet still remarkably fresh, leaving a subtle coating of primary concentration and fine tannins to fade slowly. The Santo Spirito continues to be one of the most widely appealing wines in the Terre Nere portfolio, providing lovely depth, concentration and structure in a beautifully balanced package.”

Billecart-Salmon ‘Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon’ Brut Rosé 2012 750ml Displayed Price: $219, that’s $208.05 at 5% off and $197.10 at 10% off, 3 bottles in stock now
Billecart-Salmon ‘Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon’ Brut Rosé 2012 1.5L Displayed Price: $469, that’s $445.55 at 5% off and $422.10 at 10% off, 1 magnum in stock now
Yohann Castaing-Wine Advocate 97 points
“A blend of 45% Pinot Noir and 55% Chardonnay, the 2012 Brut Rosé Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon is a real success, wafting from the glass with aromas of red berries, rose, peony, orange blood and dried flowers. Medium to full-bodied, vinous and broad, it’s dense and deep with a multidimensional core of fruit, racy acids and a textural structure, concluding with a long, delicate, mouthwatering finish. This is one of the finest rosé I’ve tasted at this address. Kudos! Drink: 2024-2054.”
James Suckling 97 points “This has a lovely copper color with aromas of cloves, spiced apples, raspberries, gingerbread and pastries. Delicious yeasty and spicy undertones. Excellent density and focus, with fine and firm bubbles, yet it’s light on its feet and so fresh. Long, chalky and salty at the end. Chardonnay and pinot noir. 3.8g/L dosage. Drink or hold.”

Benoit Dehu ‘Initiation’ Rosé Brut Nature NV (2021) 750ml Displayed Price: $99, that’s $94.05 at 5% off and $89.10 at 10% off, 11 bottles in stock now
Antonio Galloni-Vinous 91 points
“The (2021) Extra Brut Rosé Cuvée Initiation is superb. Here, the addition of 7% still red Pinot fills out the mid-palate and gives the wine some of the textural presence that is missing in the Blanc de Blancs bottling. Chalk, cranberry, mint and white pepper build into the tense, sinewy finish. Disgorged: January 25, 2024.”

Delamotte Brut Rosé NV 750ml Displayed Price: $119, that’s $113.05 at 5% off and $107.10 at 10% off, 7 bottles in stock now
Audrey Frick-Jeb Dunnuck 94 points
“[Reviewed in 2023] The NV Champagne Rosé is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and the rest Pinot Noir, with the base of 2019, and 15% still red wine. It pours a salmon/orange-tinged hue and opens in the glass to fresh, floral, pretty aromas of nectarine, salted orange, fresh rose petal, and curry spice. Medium-bodied, it has a wonderful chalky and pithy texture, with a pinpoint mousse that’s almost an afterthought. Ripe with fruit but well-balanced and long, with mouthwatering acidity, its spicier notes (cardamom, perhaps?) start to reveal themselves as it opens, and the wine lasts long on the palate. It is quite distinctive. Drink 2024-2040. 8 grams per liter dosage.” [Fall 2023 release. Base vintage may vary from review.]

De Venoge Louis XV de Venoge Extra Brut Rosé Millesime 2002 750ml Was $189, Now $159, that’s $151.05 at 5% off and $143.10 at 10% off, 11 bottles in stock now
Wine Spectator 93 points
“Harmonious, with fine intensity, offering rich notes of spice cake, toasted almond, dried cherry, grilled plum and smoky mineral. Almost velvety in texture, with juicy acidity that brings you back for another sip. Delicious. Drink now through 2022. 54 cases made.”

Gatinois Ay Grand Cru Brut Rosé NV 750ml Displayed Price: $64.50, that’s $61.28 at 5% off and $58.05 at 10% off, 11 bottles in stock now
Audrey Frick-Jeb Dunnuck 92 points
“A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the NV Champagne Grand Cru Aÿ Brut Rosé has the addition of a small portion of red wine coming from Gatinois’ oldest parcels in Aÿ. Pouring a jeweled pink/ruby color, it’s spicy on the nose, with aromas of cranberry, orange peel, crushed stones, and fennel. Medium-bodied and bright on the palate, with a frothy mousse, even acidity, and a savory and saline finish, this is another vibrant gastronomic wine that offers a good deal of versatility across seasons and pairing at the table. Drink 2024-2032.”

Lebeau-Batiste Tradition Rosé NV 750ml Displayed Price: $69, that’s $65.55 at 5% off and $62.10 at 10% off, 9 bottles in stock now

“Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. Deliciously bright, tart berries and rose petals.”

Louis Nicaise Premier Cru Brut Rosé NV 750ml Displayed Price: $51.90, that’s $49.31 at 5% off and $46.71 at 10% off, 21 bottles in stock now
Distributor Note
“Grower-Producers, the Nicaise family have been making champagne for 4 generations from their 9 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards, all in Hautvillers, but it is only very recently that the quality took a big jump up after the arrival at the domaine in 2007 of the new generation represented by Laure Nicaise-Préaux and her husband, then 25 year old Clement Préaux. Clémént apprenticed at Anselme Selosse and work at the co-op of Mailly before becoming part of the Louis Nicaise family. As his father-in-law has given him more control, Clémént has reduced the dosages on the wines and pushed the quality upwards.”

Guy Larmandier Vertus Premier Cru Brut Rosé NV 750ml Displayed Price: $59, that’s $56.05 at 5% off and $53.10 at 10% off, 11 bottles in stock now
Importer Note
“Larmandier’s Vertus Rosé has always been exemplary, a happy marriage of Côte des Blancs elegance and ripe, succulent red fruit with a caressing texture. In keeping with the traditional method by which most rosé Champagne is made, Larmandier Rosé blends a splash of red wine into a base of white wine—in this case, Pinot Noir vinified as a red constitutes 15% of the final blend. 6 g/l dosage, aged 3 years on the lees.”

Antonio Galloni-Vinous 92 points “The NV Brut Rosé Premier Cru offers an enticing floral life to its notes of mint, roses, pomegranate and sweet spices. This powerful, mineral-driven wine possesses tons of depth and personality in a vinous style that will blossom to the fullest at the dinner table. The Champagne continues to grow in the glass, suggesting it is still holding much of its potential in reserve. This is another compelling wine from Guy Larmandier. The estate’s Rosé is based on the Brut Premier Cru blend, plus about 12% still Pinot from Vertus.”

Pommery Cuvée Louise Brut Rosé 2004 750ml Was $249, Now $219, that’s $208.05 at 5% off and $197.10 at 10% off, 33 bottles in stock now
James Suckling 95 points
“This is a new release and shows wonderful finesse and beauty. You know that the moment you see the pale-amber color. It’s medium bodied with freshness and energy and a long, vivid finish. A joy to taste. Drink now.”

Louis Roederer Cristal Brut Rosé 2013 750ml Displayed Price: $619, that’s $588.05 at 5% off and $557.10 at 10% off, 1 bottle in stock now
William Kelley-Wine Advocate 99 points
“A candidate for wine-of-the-vintage honors in Champagne, Roederer’s 2013 Cristal Rosé is showing brilliantly, unfurling in the glass with notes of crisp orchard fruit, white flowers, red berries, stone fruit, freshly baked bread and tangerine oil. Full-bodied, layered and multidimensional, the vintage’s bright girdling acids are amply cloaked in exuberant, expressive and notably concentrated fruit; so while this Cristal is as tensile and age-worthy as one would expect, it’s also impressively fleshy and generous given the year. Concluding with an intensely sapid finish, the 2013 isn’t as overtly structured as the muscular, tightly wound 2012: rather, it’s the 2013’s alliance of cut and flesh, precision and charm that’s so compelling this year. This is another banner vintage for what I consider the reigning champion of the region’s tête de cuvée bottlings, and it will be worth an effort to acquire.”

Frederic Savart Bulle de Rosé Premier Cru Brut Rosé NV 750ml Displayed Price: $89, that’s $84.55 at 5% off and $80.10 at 10% off, 12 bottles in stock now
No reviews available for the current disgorgement. 2019 review provided for reference.
James Suckling 93 points “Very attractive, spicy biscuits here with a zesty, vertical feel to the palate, as well as a vibrant cherry edge. The palate has a clear, red-berry feel and some pastry to close. Drink now.”

Tarlant Saignée des Tempetée Rosé Brut Nature 2015 750ml Displayed Price: $119, that’s $113.05 at 5% off and $107.10 at 10% off, 8 bottles in stock now
Audrey Frick-Jeb Dunnuck 93+ points
“The first release of this cuvée, the 2015 Champagne Saignée Des Tempetée Brut Nature Rosé is 100% Pinot Noir, macerated on the skins for 16 hours and disgorged in March 2021. A deep salmon/garnet hue, it offers a very expressive, savory profile, with notes of blood orange, candied roses, and crushed rocks. Full-bodied with a pillowy mousse, it opens to notes of fleshy ripe apricot, which is followed by a long-lasting finish. It’s ripe with generous fruit and has no harsh edges to it. It is a very attractive wine to add to the range. Drink 2024-2034. Only 888 bottles were produced. (Drink between 2024-2034).”

Vilmart & Cie ‘Cuvee Rubis’ Brut Rosé NV 750ml Displayed Price: $99, that’s $94.05 at 5% off and $89.10 at 10% off, 13 bottles in stock now
Antonio Galloni-Vinous 92 points
“In the NV Brut Rosé Cuvée Rubis readers will find one of the most elegant, nuanced Rosés in the market. Light and gracious, yet also wonderfully deep, the Rubis has so much to offer. Red berry fruit, crushed rocks, rose petal, mint and white pepper are some of the many notes that pulse through this vivid, taut Champagne. I am especially impressed by the translucent energy of the Rubis. In a word: gorgeous. [Review for previous disgorgement, no review available for current disgorgement.]”

Royal Tokaji

Tokaji is one of the world’s greatest sweet wines. Written about in reverential tones throughout history, they fell out of favor when communist rule severely impacted the quality and availability of the wines.

The Royal Tokaji Company has led the region’s renaissance. Notable wine writer Hugh Johnson founded the company in 1990 with the sole purpose of revitalizing these once renowned wines. In addition to their maniacal focus on quality, the company has also been reviving the single-vineyards that were once synonymous with the best Hungarian bottlings.

They craft wines in a range of styles from bone-dry to one of the naturally sweetest styles possible (Essencia). The results are some of the greatest wines being made in the world, offering unparalleled experiences in your glass and a perfect conclusion to a special meal.

Royal Tokaji “By Appointment Only” No. 10 Tokaji Aszú 6 Puttonyos Furmint 2013 375ml Was $99, Now $89, 8 half-bottles in stock now
Winery Note
“Rich intense nose with hints of orange and spice. Full flavoured with citrus, pear and quince fruit, outstanding structure and a long, crisp finish. A perfect vintage with miraculous weather, perfect conditions during autumn for the development of Aszú – misty mornings, warm drying winds blowing across the Great Plain of Hungary and sweeping the mists up into the vineyards. Harvested from Royal Tokaji exclusively owned vineyards, excellent quality Furmint Aszú berries with good structure and perfect botrytis were macerated in fermenting Furmint must for two days. After pressing, the wine was filled into three 300 litre old Hungarian oak casks and transferred down into Royal Tokaji’s extensive, deep underground cellars to mature for 23 months. The final blend was made during early spring in 2016 and bottled in May. Enjoy at this young age or cellar for future enjoyment as the wine matures. Sip on its own as an aperitif, serve with fruit-based desserts or hard cheeses or enjoy this mouth-watering wine on its own instead of a dessert.”

Royal Tokaji Szt. Tamás Aszú 6 Puttonyos 2017 500ml Was $199, Now $108, 4 500ml-bottles in stock now
Neal Martin-Vinous 95 points
“The 2017 Tokaji Szt. Tamás 6-Puttonyos comes from red-clay topsoils in the commune of Mád. This is more backward compared to the Mézes Mály, and very much more citrus-driven, featuring lemon peel, orange zest and crushed stone aromas; the Aszú element is more discreet. The fresh, vibrant palate is well balanced and harmonious, offering a fine bead of acidity and candied orange peel toward the finish. Edgier than Royal Tokaji’s other 2017s, and perhaps spicier on the finish, this will be fascinating to observe mature in bottle. 3,635 bottles produced.”
